Bridges in Seville: An English+CC.SS project

4º ESo students, as part of a project carried out by both English and CC.SS teachers, helped by one of our language assistants, Luke Flierl, took a tour and explain in English the bridges in Seville.

It was a great experience in which they shared and enjoyed the information students have been working on.

If there is an Irish Day on the Calendar, this is the 17th of March, when the Irish celebrate their National Day.

Not only in Ireland, but all over the world. Look at this Padlet and read some students'thoughts about it.

Last  SEPT. 26TH we celebrated the European Day of Languages with different activities.

Languages are really important in this global world! The more we comunicate, the better we can understand each other!

1º bach students have actively participated on our etwinning project with the school "Quinto Orazio Flacco" from Naples.

They have carried out several actions, the last one these posters with ideas to lead a sustenable way of life.

Il Giorno del Pianeta

Gli studenti italiani hanno partecipato attivamente nel "Giorno del Pianeta", il 22 di aprile.

Hanno fatto

1- una infografia con 10 idee per proteggere il pianeta+ un logo spagnolo-italiano

 

2-Questo logo era sulle magliete che siamo indossati il 22 Aprile

3-Sono membri del movimento "Por el Clima" e hanno il suo diploma.Hanno invitati agli amici, alla famiglia... ad essere parte scaricando il suo diploma,come si puó vedere nel Padlet:

 

22ND APRIL:

"Our planet is in danger,we must do something about it."

Who hasn't heard these words? However, our students have started to take action:

They have participated on the Creative Classroom" initative, under etwinning, by creating a podcast to add to these padlet shared by  a great number of etwinning schools.

 

Among those podcast, we have this one by Marcos Ortiz,from 2º bach A, which is really awesome!  

Not only this action: our students, who are studying Italian and are participants of the etwinning project:"Salvemos la tierra, sumando acciones",took a very active part, creating a logo, which was turned into a poster and a t-shirt, becoming members of "por el clima" comunity and encouriging their classmates to become part too. They are being  great assets so far, in this Covid school year, being really flexible, teaching students person to person and online,showing a courage and a lots of resources to get through this difficult situation.

2. International projects.   

a.Erasmus +:   

We are part of an Erasmus project with Ringskater School,in Brummundal,Norway,aimed at promoting European citizenship and social values,under the tittle:

 "Empowering the development of social and intercultural competences by promotion of active citizenship."

b. eTwinning projects.     

 As part of the Erasmus + project mentioned,we are undergoing an eTwinning project called :

"Youth'r Europe".

  Another eTwinning project is being carried out with the School Quinto Orazio Flacco,in Portici,Naples,Italy. It is focused on climate change and its tittle is 

"Sumando acciones, actuemos por el clima." in Italian and Spanish.
