St.Clemens Danes-IES Velázquez: 2nd exchange!

Last year our school started an exchange programme with St.Clemens Danes school in Chorleywood,London,England.

The exchange was a success and our schools decided to do it this year too.Our British exchanges came this past January 11th till the 18th and we are visiting  them this March 21st-28th.

STUDENTS' EXCHANGE.

CHORLEYWOOD(LONDON-ENGLAND/ I.E.S. VELÁZQUEZ(SEVILLE/SPAIN)

From June 16th to June 23rd students from the I.E.S Velázquez have visited their exchange partners in Chorleywood,near London, as part of the exchange which started last January.

During this time, students have lived with their host families, practice their English, get to know what an English school is like and above all tight the knots with their English friends.

Our students after exchanging some mails finally got to meet at our school.A very nice presentation and game to break the ice was designed by our  2º Bachillerato Astudents.After that, they chat and went to have breakfast together.

DANISH STUDENTS VISIT IES VELÁZQUEZ

Danish Visit1Next March 6th, a group of Danish students are visiting us.

They will be welcome by 2º Bachillerato A students, and then,as part of the visit, our students will take them on a tour of Seville. These are some videos they have made for that purpose.

VELAZQUEZ HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS VISIT NAPLES.

As part of  an etwinning project, students from our school visited Naples. We are very happy and proud to have received the Spanish and European Quality Label for this project, as well as the "Move2Learn, Learn2Move" European scholarship.
